Angel Banks builds developer communities, the programs that make them grow, and the content that helps developers learn inside them. She co-founded REFACTR.TECH, an inclusive tech conference in Atlanta, with a simple goal to create space for the stories tech doesn't always make room for. She has also been an organizer for Women Who Code Atlanta, WeRISE Tech conference, Google Developers Group Atlanta, Women Techmakers, DevFest Atlanta, Girl Develop It Atlanta, and ATL Angular. She was a program manager in Microsoft DevRel, working across the JavaScript, Python and .NET advocacy teams. Before that she built interfaces as a designer, as a front-end developer, and as a product manager. These days she is most interested in the work behind the work: what turns a good idea into something worth showing up for, contributing to, and coming back to.
