Testing Java apps in the age of AI
How do you know the code that AI wrote works? How do you know the tests the AI wrote work? How do you know the code does what you want? Testing has changed over the last few years and adapting the mindset of how to test with it.
While AI can generate code quickly, that doesn’t mean it is correct. After all humans write buggy code too!
In this session, you’ll learn techniques for improving tests for new and existing code and how to get ore thorough tests. You’ll see how to use tools like code coverage and mutation testing to see how thorough they are. You’ll also see examples of how to tell if the work is even correct. After all, having a regression test for an AI generated bug still leaves you with the bug.
