Janine Patterson
Biography
Janine started with Core Java in the financial field, with a main focus on high performance, low garbage collection, and binary data interchange formats like Fix/Fast. Since then she’s moved on to microservices architecture and cloud platforms. As a CJUG board member, she runs their Office Hours sessions, similar to coffee and code. She has also taught sessions at Hak4Kidz, and GOTO Junior.
Integration Test Coverage with JaCoCo
Ever wondered what the test coverage is for your integration tests? Why should you even care about it if you're already looking at unit test coverage? In this talk we'll cover why you'd want to look at this metric, and how to get started. Examples will include setting up a test server inside of docker, using the JaCoCo agent on a server, and aggregating results.
